I did an engagement shoot yesterday with this lovely couple. It was -4 degrees, so we all felt like troopers freezing our butts off. Their story is quite interesting. Jenna, the soon-to-be bride, was inspired to do a long distance theme for their session, because most of their relationship has been spent apart. She got ideas for props off sessions she had seen on Pinterest (I’m pretty sure she got the paper plane idea off of your photos, N’tima) and made that banner herself. I love all my clients, but I really love the ones who get creative and are willing to incorporate props. He’s an Airman stationed here in Alaska and they are getting married in a little under 6 months and staying here where they can finally be together for good. This was definitely one of my favorite sessions and they were some of the nicest people I have met here!
Marielle and her girls did such a wonderful job with this. There are truly no words, this is just so beautiful. Check me, Steven, and Mary Claire dancing like goobers towards the end.sam and josh were married under golden leafed trees under one of the prettiest skies i’ve ever seen. the first time I met them both was in joshua tree for their engagements and since then I was so damn excited to film for the big day. their wedding was the last one I filmed of the year and I have to say that it was the perfect way to end a year of filming love.
Reliving some wedding bliss. No special occasion, just because. We look like babies. My left cheek was the size of a baseball and I did hide my face for a lot of the photos, but ahh, still so many happy memories. I love that our wedding was shot in mostly film. And of course, I love my husband. And actually, I just remembered…tomorrow we have been married for two years and seven months.
bri and george were married in an art museum in the company of good people while listening to good music. i loved filming their wedding and loved the outcome even more.
